Family Day

What is Family Day? How does Family Day even exist? Those were our exact thoughts when we heard about Family Day. Apparently, according to wikipedia, in South Africa and some parts of Canada, Family Day is a statutory holiday and usually in the third Monday of February.

What do people do?

On Family Day, many plan activities aimed at the whole family. These include visiting art exhibitions, watching movies, skating on outdoor ice rinks, playing board games and taking part in craft activities. What better way to celebrate than to create a collage of everyone in your family?
